Registration. Each participating member is required to register on 4-H Connect and pay the $130 registration fee. Registration on 4-H Connect will open on May 15 and close on midnight June 7. This fee includes lodging, meals, activities, and supplies. Agents who have been assigned are expected to attend and pay for their own registration ($100). See chaperone instructions (Item 12) below.
Participation. Participants must be active 4-H members enrolled in a Texas 4-H and Youth Development county program in District IV.
Eligibility. 4-H Members who were in 5th grade or higher during the 2018-19 year are eligible to attend.
Campers per county. Each county may send as many individuals, or as camp space permits.

District Officer Elections. District officers will be elected at this camp. Please review the attached council standing rules for candidate eligibility and election procedures. Candidates must complete the application that is included in the registration form on Connect. No late officer applications will be accepted. Elected district officers will be installed at the conclusion of the camp on July 10 at approximately 10 a.m. Parents are welcome and encouraged to attend at this time. Please read all information below and fully understand the commitments required before applying. If you have questions, please visit with your County Extension Agent. Following elections, a summer training/planning day will be scheduled by advisers and newly elected officers.
Information and Forms for District Candidates
State Council Members. Members elected to District President, or 1st Vice will also represent District 4 by serving on the state council. State council members are REQUIRED to attend the Texas 4-H Council training scheduled for July 15-20, 2019 at the Texas 4-H Conference Center in Brownwood. Eligibility, details about council, and the required form to sign is linked below.
Participants with disabilities. Any camper who requires auxiliary aids or special accommodations must contact the District Extension Office, or note when registering on 4-H Connect, at least 2 weeks before the event to request such needs. Please describe specific needs.
Chaperones. Assigned agents are expected to serve as chaperones for the duration of the camp. Some may be asked to provide educational programs and/or serve as group facilitators. County Extension Agents will serve as chaperones day and night. Adult volunteers will be permitted to chaperone on an as needed basis. In such cases, volunteers must be current on all required trainings and screening.
