Beef Quiz Bowl

Objectives:
  • To determine top placing teams in quiz bowl contests and qualify contestants for State 4-H Roundup
  • To provide recognition for project work and skills development in the areas of project knowledge
  • To promote teamwork for 4-H members and adult leaders and expand their knowledge of 4-H opportunities
  • To provide 4-H members the opportunity to compare the skills they have gained with those of other members and with their own previous performance
  • To provide 4-H members with an opportunity to develop and practice public speaking and analytical skills

Description:
There is no limit on the number of teams or individuals a county can enter. A team consists of  either 3 or 4 members.
  
All participants must have an Eligibility Form to turn in to the respective District Contest Coordinator. Participants who are ineligible or do not have and Eligibility Form will not be allowed to judge. Please think through how you intend to coordinate this and communicate your plan to your county delegation.
 
The Awards Program for each contest will be conducted at each individual judging site. The District Office will furnish each contest coordinator with the necessary awards.
 
NOTE: There is no way to determine the exact time for any particular awards program. This might require you to be flexible in terms of transportation and making plans to attend any particular awards program.
